Our aim is to produce 175 GW energy through renewable methods, says PM
When I became PM, I was shocked to hear that there were 18,000 villages where electricity had not yet reached. Officers told me it will take us seven years to electrify them. I told them to hurry up and finally I announced from Red Fort that electrification would be done soon. And we have done major work in that area, he adds.
