The election results for 43 urban bodies in Madhya Pradesh were declared on Wednesday.
Bhopal: The BJP on Wednesday won 26 out of the 43 posts of presidents of urban bodies in Madhya Pradesh. The Congress bagged 14 posts.

Vote counting will begin at 9 am.
In the fray, are 206 candidates for president's post in urban bodies, 2133 candidates for Municipal corporation posts, 18 nagarpalika parishads and 26 nagar parishads. Voting for all these seats were held on August 11.
By-poll results for 5,631 panchs, 74 sarpanchs, 14 janpad members, 3 jila panchayat members and general election results for 356 panchs and 23 sarpanchs will also be declared today.
The results of MP Panchayat elections will be crucial for the ruling BJP and state Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan.
