Former Gujarat Assembly Speaker Ganpat Vasava, who was a part of previous Cabinet in Gujarat, takes oath.
Five-time MLA Saurabh Patel, who won from Akota and is an MBA from US, inducted in Rupani government in Gujarat.
It is Kaushik Patel's first stint as a minister in Gujarat.
Kushik Jamnadas Patel, who won from BJP president Amit Shah's Narainpur seat, takes oath as Cabinet minister.
R C Faldu, who has been the president of Gujarat BJP, takes oath as Cabinet minister.
Nitin Patel takes oath as Deputy Chief Minister of Gujarat. He is considered the face of Patel community in the BJP government in Gujarat.

With 99 MLAs, the BJP has a simple majority in the 182-member Assembly, 16 less than its 2012 tally of 115. Independent MLA Ratansinh Rathod has declared his support to the ruling party. With this, the BJP now has the support of 100 MLAs in the 182-member Assembly. Opposition Congress, which had won 61 seats in 2012, managed to increase its tally to 77. The strength of the Congress and its allies in the new House is 80.
