India fielded youngsters, that's acceptable ahead of the South Africa tour, but the performance was just too bad. These players have let the faith of the selectors down, but it's early to say that. The Indians still have time, and will hopefully come back in the next match, and show us their mettle.
This was a complete drubbing. With 176 balls and an entire sunset left, Sri Lanka finally beat India after 12 matches. A complete drubbing.
India had a chance to climb up to the pole position in the ICC ODI Rankings, if they would have won this series 3-0. But then, it has slipped away from their hands.
This has been a morale boosting victory for Sri Lanka, meanwhile this dismal performance is something for Ravi Shastri and co to ponder upon.
